GeekGirl Episode 7.1: iPhone iLikes & iGripes-Part 1!

Tah-Dah! It's FINALLY here. Without further delay, here is Part 1 of a long and knowledge-filled podcast on my (and your!) iPhone iLikes and iGripes. And don't worry, I only got to one email in this one (I was busy telling you my own iGripes first!) but I got to most of the rest of them in the next part, which I'm working on now that this is done!

Keep sending in your iGripes and iLikes...or post them in the COMMENTS section below! Thanks for all the feedback and for makng this episode so fun and interactive. And hey, if you have any response videos, email them to me at geek.girl@earthlink.net!

Great review so far! Looking forward to part 2.

I guess I don't consider voice dialing that big of a deal because I can voice dial through my car. I am sure you know that you can double click on the home button and it will take you to your faves. That eliminates one step if you are making a call to someone on your faves.

Something else that I thought of that is an iGripe is the lack of features of the camera. What I don't understand is how the jailbroken phones have an app that you can use to fix some of the camera features but there isn't an app in the iTunes store.

Anyways, great job!

Hey Everyone! Thanks for watching/posting. Marisol/Chri Ann i believe i have both of your emails/comments in the next segment!

Cathy, what kind of phone does your son have? was it an iPhone? I'm not exactly sure what to do at this point...come back and post what kind of phone it is and give me a status update of what happens when you power it up...does it even turn on? then i can start looking for an answer!!!

Cheers,

GeekGirl

Thanks Daria, But we got it fixed, I used a hairdryer on it and we took it in to the Verizon store and they checked it out and got it going.
Thanks Daria

i would like to add an iGripe to the list.

while in GPS or map mode the phone should stay active (as in not go blank into snooze mode while you are driving) I say this only because this happened to me today and I almost crashed trying to get my blue dot back.
